Reverse-engineers Cluely founder Roy Lee's growth tactic of getting 700+ clipping accounts to post him on pay-per-view terms. Transcript excerpt
This Roy Lee guy psi-opped everybody into thinking that he was famous. Do you know why he blew up so quickly? It's because the dude convinced over 700 people to post him for literally zero dollars. How does one steal this method hypothetically? Give your AI context about you and your target audience along with this big ol' prompt. First, it will give you the accounts your audience watches the most. Then the agent will pull up their page and go to the suggested account section and scrape all of them and filter out any account that isn't a clipping account. Now have your AI run this prompt. Your AI will do everything it can to find the email addresses of all of these accounts. Most of the time it's just gonna be fucking in their bio. Then it will draft all of them in email like this. Pointing towards a folder with examples of your content that you've posted that have done really well. With a bunch of raw footage of like, I don't know, a podcast of yours or something. Whatever you want them to clip. Probably write a better email than this, like maybe be more persuasive. Apparently that's his actual system. Dude would straight up only pay based on how many views the video would get. I have no idea why people agree to that. Now get out there, big dog. Go get some people to make some slow-mo edits of you. And follow me, your boy, while you're at it. I will keep shitposting all of my AI ideas for free.
