Codex + Blender — agent-built 3D hero asset embedded with Three.js
50k ft — Why care?
Codex generated hero-section concepts with image generation, then recreated the chosen one as a Blender model via a GitHub repo of Blender skills, fully hands-off. It imported the asset into the site with Three.js as an interactive, mouse-following, explode-and-reassemble element, and tuned it for mobile. Works in Claude Code too.
10k ft — Key takeaways
• Blender skills let the agent model without you knowing Blender
• Check mobile performance of WebGL hero assets
• Generate concept images first, then have the agent model the winner in Blender

Transcript excerpt
So I was able to create this website with Codex and Blender and it allowed me to create this 3D asset that I could bring into my webpage to really make it look like a premium product. And the cool thing is, I've never used Blender in my life. Codex controlled the entire process. And the step-by-step process looked like this. First, I had it come up with some potential hero sections. You can see all the possibilities it gave me here on the right. It did it using the image generation tool and eventually I landed on this one over here. Now, once I selected this one, I then told Codex to recreate this model inside of Blender. I had it use this GitHub repo to do so. This includes the skills I created to generate these models. And then it went inside of Blender and generated it all for me completely hands off. Then I had it bring that asset into my website using 3JS. This isn't a video. This is something that interacts with your mouse movements. I can expand it, reassemble it. It follows me through the entire page and Codex just put it all together. And you could also do this inside of Cloud Code as well. Lastly, I made sure it performed well both on desktop and mobile. And the prompt for that looks something like this. Now, over on my YouTube channel, I did an entire deep dive on this process. So if you want to learn more and get links to those resources, make sure to check that out.
