Transcript excerpt
People are freaking out because China open sourced an AI employee, but it's not exactly that. It's something much cooler, a super agent harness, and you will not believe who's actually behind it. If you're new, I'm Giga Chen. I've been an investor in China for a while, and I put you guys on this stuff before the rest of the world catches up. It's called deer flow, standing for deep exploration and efficient research. And it's an open source, super agent harness. But what does that mean? A super agent harness is AI software infrastructure that wraps around existing models and allows them to function autonomously as you guessed it, super agents. This basically means they can do complex tasks, think things that take a lot of time and require multiple steps. People pedaling hype online will tell you that deer flow 2.0 comes with its own computer. In reality, it uses Docker containerization, which provides isolated, secure, functional, virtual computing space for the agents to work in. This kind of setup is what's often meant when you hear sandboxed execution. Deer flow basically orchestrates everything you need to run a persistent swarm AI. So what's it used for? Anything, just check out their website. We're talking research, coding, presentations, just imagine yourself as a company. What would you want your employees to do? It's designed to be open source and local first, putting you in charge, which is a familiar narrative. And one thing that makes it very different is you…
