Transcript excerpt
So this guy who is marrying the Chiefest Staff of Anthropic this weekend and also worked at FTX resigning one day before they went bankrupt, he got famous for turning a couple hundred million into billions by buying Intel $10 after we did in this video, but he did not sell the covered calls like we did in this video. Apparently he blew up his fund today and that is why the chip stocks have been getting hammered as of lately. They actually went up today because apparently Ken Griffin bought his book without it actually hitting the market which is leaving people to believe that the overhang is probably limited for now. We are going to find out more over the coming days so I'm sure there is a lot more to this story but don't forget what we talked about with the dollar and momentum. You could thank the yen for that one today. The CDS is chilled out so chips rallied and let's see now what we do after this 20 percent route. The earnings have met the high bar but the reactions have been muted. Savers are getting rewarded for being prudent but the spenders have been punished but honestly not as bad. We're still in the box and nothing has really changed. You could even ask Kevin Warsh and our next catalyst moving forward they're going to be macro geopolitical and waiting for any new product releases or AI developments until the next earnings. I hope you're paying attention.
