Its every where I turn. The people around me who make the most waves in the water are also ready to pick up something new, and to give their shot at solving a problem. I don't think they see problems or fields as requiring a new specific skill to solve - but more that it's an approach and figuring it out, in your own way is what creates truly new solutions, because throwing your unique skill set at a problem, probably hasn't been done before.
Transcript excerpt
There is a single trait that all of the best creatives have in common. I keep seeing it in people who are consistently successful, not just creatively, but in almost any field out there. It's this unwavering idea that things are always going to work out. That if you can't find someone to do it, or you can't afford to pay someone to do it, then you just learn how to do it yourself. They have this curiosity that goes beyond their own field of expertise and quite often feel limited by their own skills. There's this really common saying, Jack of all trades, Master of None, and yes, you will never beat a specialist at their game. But you know what, you will beat them at literally anything else, and that is an insane ability.
