Claude chat to Cowork — brainstorm, prototype in chat, then hand off to build
50k ft — Why care?
A build workflow for a viral camera-based web project: brainstorm in Claude chat and have it ask questions before building, confirm which tools it will use, demand an interactive prototype in chat, then have Claude write a detailed build prompt and hand it to Claude Cowork, which has terminal and computer access and executes it end to end into a working HTML file.
10k ft — Key takeaways
• Get an interactive prototype in chat before committing to a build
• Have Claude write the build prompt, then run it in an agent with system access
• Make Claude ask questions before it writes any code

I am surprised about the cowork, I thought Claude code would be the tool to use. Am I wrong? Anyway, great result!

So this video just went viral, yay! And I want to show you guys the exact workflow I used to make this project. The first thing I did is jump into Claude and using their chat feature, I started brainstorming and discussing my idea. I wanted it to ask me questions and I didn't want it to start building anything yet. The second thing I do, which I think is very important, is understanding which tools Claude will be using. This helps you later on explain to Claude any areas where it might be not understanding what you're trying to build and problem solve. The third step is always asking for an interactive prototype within the chat before you start building anything. After I'm really happy with the interactive prototype, I ask Claude to give me a detailed prompt about what it's trying to build. Once I have all of that, I take the prompt and move it over to co-work. The reason I move it over to co-work is because co-work has access to my terminal, has access to my computer, and it can execute everything without me touching a finger. Once Claude got everything up and running, it gives you a HTML file, and then from there you'll be able to access your camera and see how the full project is working. I hope this work will help. Let me know if you have any other questions. Bye.
