Google Ad Grants — $10k/month for nonprofits and the $2 CPC workaround
50k ft — Why care?
501(c)(3) nonprofits can get $10,000/month in Google Ads indefinitely; the creator claims compliance rules (quality score, single-word keywords, 5% CTR) are barely enforced, and that switching from manual CPC to Maximize Conversions with imported GA4 micro-conversions lets campaigns bid past the $2 CPC cap.
10k ft — Key takeaways
• Eligible nonprofits should claim the free $10k/month.
• Maximize Conversions with GA4 micro-conversions lifts the $2 CPC ceiling.
• Rule enforcement claims are anecdotal; stay compliant.

Transcript excerpt
I don't know what happened inside Google's back rooms during COVID, but ever since it seems their grants team is non-existent, which makes a Google grant even more amazing because it not only gives nonprofits who are 501c3 certified $10,000 per month, indefinitely to pay for ads and bring them volunteers and donations and event attendance. But now nonprofits don't even have to follow Google's strict grant rules because for the last five years, no one at Google seems to even be checking. And this includes the requirement to keep quality scores above two and avoid single word keywords and have more than one ad group in a campaign and keep click through rate above 5%. And even in the off chance that you break the rules and get caught, you can just revert changes and appeal. One exception being the rule that limits nonprofits to a $2 CPC cap, because Google doesn't want nonprofits upsetting their heavy hitting paid advertisers. But lucky for you, there's a work around for this rule too. By changing your campaigns bidding from manual CPC to maximize conversions and turning on a few imported micro conversions in GA4, you can force Google to bypass the $2 CPC ceiling. And I would say you didn't hear this from me, but there doesn't seem to be a single human being left on the grant floor who has not been usurped by Google's AI fetish department.
