Google Chrome has been installing an AI model on people's computers without their consent. Here's how to check if it's on your computer and how to get rid of it. You're going to want to look for a file called weight.bin. If this file is on your computer, then the AI model has been installed on your device. The full file path will be on screen. It's in your app data directory nestled in the folder called opt guide on device model. Unfortunately, you can't just delete the weight.bin folder because like malware, it will reinstall itself. Yahoo is reporting that Windows users have to change registry keys to get rid of it permanently. But there is an easier way. You can uninstall Google Chrome, and it will go away permanently. And in my professional opinion, uninstalling Google Chrome is exactly what you should do.
