Transcript excerpt
Someone just found the operation that creates all other operations in math. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, logarithms, exponents, radicals, sine waves, all trigonometric functions, once you throw in imaginary numbers. Reciprocicles every single operation that you can think of starts with the EML function. I think you're probably going to hear about it if you're a math nerd like me in the next coming months, but I need to tell you about it. This is a paper in the archives, it has not been peer-reviewed, but I think it's really good. What is the EML function? The exponent minus log, it's e to the x minus ln of y. So EML of 1 and x is e to the 1 minus ln of x. If we take this guy and shove him back into the EML function, I'm not going to work through the algebra, but it's e to the e over x. If you once again pop it back into the EML function, then you get ln of x. Okay, why do I care about that? We made e to the x, we made ln of x, we're inverses of each other, so we can get out addition and subtraction. Okay, so now we have this chain of EML functions that is ln. Imagine just sticking that back in here, I'm not going to write it all out. Same with e to the x, we saw earlier we can make e to the x with the EML function, so that just goes right here. Nothing about the EML function, we are able to construct x minus y. If we use negative y instead of y, we get x plus y, we just created addition. Just keep making functions. All of the functions, all the operations…
