Fisher Transform — zero-lag mean-reversion signal (Python repo)
50k ft — Why care?
@quant.traderr visualizes the Fisher Transform mapping price into a Gaussian for sharper reversal signals vs lagging MAs. DM-gated GitHub repo with the Python implementation.

Stop using lagging indicators. Do the math instead. 📉🛑
The Quant Approach:
This visualization shows the Fisher Transform. Instead of smoothing, it mathematically transforms price data into a Gaussian normal distribution.

Why is this better?
Zero Lag: It attempts to remove the noise without the delay of a Moving Average.
Sharper Signals: It highlights price extremes (the sharp peaks in the video). When the Fisher line hits a specific threshold (Red/Blue zones), the probability of a reversal is statistically significant.
⚡ Use Case:
I use this to spot "mean reversion" trades—catching the exact moment a trend is exhausted, often bars be…
