Veo — what creators actually do with it

Veo's six entries split between launch news and Veo used as one step in a larger automation. Google's own I/O reel introduces it as a model producing 1080p video from text, image and video prompts, editable with further prompts, inside the experimental VideoFX tool (Veo launch). The practical posts embed it: @koen.agi's n8n flow turns a Telegram message into an eight-part story, renders each part with Veo 3, stitches the clips and uploads to YouTube (n8n vlog), and @theaisurfer makes start and end frames in Whisk, animates between them in Google Flow, splits the clip into 240 frames and has an AI coding tool build an Apple-style scroll animation (scroll effect).

Neither workflow post shows its full method; both gate the guide behind a comment. Gemini, Cursor and Runway each appear in 2 of these posts. The Cursor overlap comes from coding posts: the scroll build and a Gemini CLI write-up where Veo and Imagen generation are a side feature of a free terminal coding agent (Gemini CLI), so that tag is mostly incidental. Runway shows up as a peer: @nateherkai's synthetic-influencer stack says to animate "with an AI video model like Veo or Runway" (synthetic creator).

No post here measures Veo output quality or cost directly. The closest is a report on Gemini Omni, which contrasts Omni with diffusion-only tools like Veo and says testers used about 86% of a Pro plan's daily quota on two 10-second generations (Gemini Omni); that figure is about Omni, not Veo.
