Transcript excerpt
A Voronoid diagram is a wave dividing space based on relationships. It's a naturally occurring pattern to analyze proximity used in urban planning, data clustering, determining network infrastructure. This is an interactive generative piece by Scott Snaby called Bubble Heart where you can interact justly with these Voronoid diagrams. It's a piece in a series that Scott originally made in 1997, way before all these JavaScript libraries made creative code easy. Scott is a pioneer of interactive insulation art, and many of his pieces you might recognize from the MoMA, the Whitney, etc. Many of Scott's pieces explore spiritual dimensions with technology. On Thursday, April 30th, Scott will be leading a meditation and artistock in conjunction with our network spirituality exhibition called If Then Amen. I'm so excited, make sure you RSVP and I hope to see you there.
