Underwater cenote photography — 83 dives of reference-driven reshoots
50k ft — Why care?
Josiah WG shows his process for an underwater photo book: scouting Yucatán cenotes on a road trip, then using those early shots as reference to reshoot scenes across 83 dives with better site knowledge and a clearer overarching theme. Includes a gear-shop shout-out.
10k ft — Key takeaways
• Long-form projects (a book) justify dozens of returns to one location
• Use early scouting shots as references, then reshoot with a defined theme
5k ft — Tools & techniques
(no tools tagged)
reference-based reshooting
1k ft — Deep-dive / try it
