A recap of a cave-diving documentary: four Finnish technical divers enter a deep Norwegian cave system, two die after equipment snags and panic, authorities seal the cave, and the survivors secretly go back to recover the bodies. Transcript excerpt
It's insane that this is a documentary and not a horror movie. If this was a horror movie, you would know exactly where this is going. Four finished cave divers face their worst nightmare when they embark on a massive dive in Norway. If you love documentaries, make sure to hit follow because I post daily and you'll never have to search for something to watch. The first two start their journey into this massive cave system. The other two wait two hours before going into the water. When the first group gets to the deepest part of the cave system, their equipment gets stuck. One of the divers ends up panicking and removing his mask which ultimately ends in him drowning. The other team is on their way where they are going to be trapped as well. And unfortunately, one of the other divers ends up dying too. After hours of trying to escape, the other two divers make it out of the cave where a rescue mission is sent back down to try to retrieve their friends. After this is unsuccessful, the authorities close the cave saying that nobody can ever go in there again. These guys then decide let's make a documentary illegally break into this cave system and retrieve our friends' bodies. An extremely dangerous mission. It's had me at the edge of my seat the entire time. It's hard to believe that this is even real life. It's incredibly tragic. Let me know what you guys think about this in the comments.
