Radiooooo — world-map radio for digging samples by country and decade
50k ft — Why care?
From a WKCR "Free Samples" interview: a beatmaker says most samples now come from online, mainly Radiooooo, a world map where you pick a decade and a country and it plays a random song from it. A fast way to dig unfamiliar regional records for flips.
10k ft — Key takeaways
• Random regional picks surface samples few others have flipped
• Use Radiooooo to dig by country and decade instead of vinyl

Transcript excerpt
Are you sourcing all these samples for the most part from actual vinyl? Mostly, it's just online. So there's a website called radio with 5Os, radio.com. It's basically a world map and you just select the decade and you click on a country and it'll give you like a random song. That's been like the biggest source of my son of course.
